From time to time we like to brag about success stories of non-profit organizations raising money using BooksinKind. This particular story is from one of our initial beta testers who tested the BooksinKind concept by having a small group of college students from a local church do a book drive in order to raise money for an education project for children in China. In just about a week’s time the students gathered the books and were utterly shocked to see that the value of those books amounted to a donation of just over $1,000.00.
For the students this fundraising effort represented an opportunity to contribute to one of their favorite organizations, Kids Across Cultures.
